Banville's Biography:
Experience:
Steve
is a self taught guitarist who has been playing for 28 years in the
New
England area. At the age of 14, he I got his first taste of the applause.
During
the 80's, Steve performed original music in the Boston area,
opening
for such bands as "The Romantics", "Farenheit", "Mass", and members
of
"Extreme".
Along
with his extensive live experience, Steve has also spent a number of years
recording
his own original music in studios from coast to coast. Steve has
also had the fortune to work with
local
artists (and great guys) Charlie Farren and Phil Bynoe. Today I
currenty
enjoy playing / performing with A&K along with performing with
other
musicians in the area, and writing original music once again.
Influences:
Among
my many influences such as Richie Blackmore, Neal Schon, Gary
Moore,
and Brian May, I like to believe that I have fine-tuned my
playing
style to that of my own, bringing to the table a mix of
progressive
rock with searing melodies and complex techniques with a bit
of
style.
Previous Bands:
I have
had the fortune to have played with some memorable bands and
musicians
in the Boston and local area such as "Aftermath", "Shockwave",
"Guilty
Party", and "Real to Reel" along many last minutes session gigs
with
"Last Laugh" (Lot's of fun with those guys) along with surprise
gigs
from time to time with ""Mirror Mirror" now Mojo" (Never miss a
chace
to jam with those guys !!!)
